Who Would Know Better?

Who would know better what it is like to be tall than a tall person? Who would know better what it is like to have a heart attack than someone who has had one and survived it? Who would know better what it is like to be lifted off the ground by a tornado than one who has had that experience?

John 3:3: Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Who would know better what it is like to be born-again than one who has been born-again?

Luke 17:21: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

Ephesians 3:17a: That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; . . .

Who would see and understand more about the kingdom of God than one who has been born again and has the kingdom within him? Who would know Him better than one who has the Saviour within?

2 Corinthians 5:17: Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Who would know better what it is like to become a new creature than one who has become one?

Romans 8:16: The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

Who would know better that he is a child of God than one who has heard it from the Holy Spirit?

Romans 10:13: For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Who would know better that he was saved by the Lord when he asked the Lord to save him than one who has asked and received that result from the Lord?

John 1:12: But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

Who would know better all the things that Christ accomplishes when one receives Christ than one who has received Christ? Who would know better that it takes unique and Divine Power to make one a son of God than one who has been impacted by that power with that result?

WE NEED TO BE CAREFUL NOT TO SEEK SPIRITUAL TRUTH FROM THOSE WHO DO NOT HAVE IT. If an individual or even a spiritual leader does not speak frequently and joyfully about being saved and born again by receiving Christ, he probably has not done that. If you attend a church where people are not encouraged often to receive Christ and given the opportunity to do that, find a church where those things happen.
